Woodbury Pride, June 28th 11:30 - 1:30 on the North Green On Sunday, June 28th St. Paul’s Church will join with other members of the Woodbury Community to celebrate Pride Month. Everyone is encouraged to come to church dressed fabulously. After church, everyone is invited to join the festivities on the North Green at 11:30. There will be music, celebration, and speakers, including the keynote speaker, Rev. Tuesday!
LGBTQ+ Pride promotes the rights, self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. The word Pride does not mean arrogant or boastful; rather it is a rejection of shame and stigma, a reclaiming of dignity and self-worth, and an affirmation of intrinsic value.
As Episcopalian Christians, we support the lives, loves, and rights of all people, including those on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. We believe that we are all “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). All people are made in the perfect image and likeness of God, without exception.
We hope you will join us on June 28th to celebrate, affirm, and make visible our support for all of God’s fabulously beautiful children!

Work continues on the Lower Hall, but the real energy has moved to our Pearson Room restrooms. Drywall is up and plumbing is in place. Lots of great progress has been made!

July 9, Property Committee (4p); Executive Committee (5p); Finance Committee (6:40p). All Staff & Leadership Meetings are on hiatus for the summer.
Program Chairs Planning Day SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, September 12th, 9a - 1p. Program chairs, save the date for a fun, informative, and productive morning. We will get to know one another and our ministries and plan into 2027 and beyond. Brunch will be provided - details to come!
Vestry Meeting. July 16th, 6:30p Seabury Room.

An Urgent Message about our Little Free Pantry- Our Little Free Pantry is being used heavily right now — about 75–90% of the food is gone every two days. The large donation that recently filled our shelves has now mostly been distributed to neighbors in need, and supplies are running low again. Click here to learn more! Parish Administrator Away- From May 1st through August 25th our Parish Administrator, Hannah Berg, will be away, and will not be accessing email. During that time please direct questions to Rev. New Start Ministry- Last week, Cecilia, a refugee from South Sudan, attended the GWIM (Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries) annual Feed the Hungry Dinner. Volunteers are invited to this event, and Cecilia has been a loyal weekly volunteer for almost 2 years. Congratulations on the recognition!

Professional Nursery Care is on hiatus for the summer. Our beloved childcare worker, Nicole, will be back with us on Sunday, September 13th. Parents and caregivers are welcome to make use of the nursery during services and parish events.
